In the summer of 2024, we are thrilled to unveil a delightful surprise: Avantgarde Refined Yalıkavak proudly hosts The Red Balloon Restaurant from Istanbul, featuring Michelin Young Chef Award-winner Ulaş Durmaz this summer.
 

Inspired by the timeless charm of the book and the Academy Award-winning movie “The Red Balloon” from 1956, The Red Balloon restaurant was established by Pınar Erdoğan in the summer of 2022 in Yeniköy, İstanbul. With the leadership of Chef Ulaş Durmaz, a third-generation chef inspired by his family’s gastronomic heritage, Red Balloon has evolved into a culinary destination which radiates warmth and elegance. 
 

You are now invited to experience Red Balloon at our hotel, just by the enchanting Kudur Bay with the vibrant flavors of Aegean and Mediterranean brought to life by Chef Durmaz.
